I have worked in the games industry for nearly 10 years on a wide range of projects and 3D generalist tasks from mobile to PC, VR and marketing!
My responsibilities have included 3D modeling, texturing, material creation, asset integration, particle effects, motion graphics, prototyping and many other odd tasks that have been thrown my way.
My passion is for indie game development, but I'm excited to explore the many avenues of 3D art.
Worked closely with animators and storyboard artists to create scenes for UA marketing material in both Unreal and Unity Engines. Set up environments, characters, animations, particles and cameras, taking multiple videos from concept to completion with quick turnaround.
Part time - Contract - With strict technical limitations in mind created and integrated stylized prop and environment assets for a VR ready pipeline in Unreal Engine. Created custom material solutions using both Substance Designer and Unreal material graph.
Developed, documented and implemented core 3D asset pipeline for use by other artists. Liaised with the outsourcing team and handled environment asset integration. Authored modular material functions focused on customization while adhering to strict mobile limits. Created level kits, using a combination of hard surface, sculpted and hand painted techniques. Other responsibilities included concepts, renders, particle fx, props and character modeling
Worked with loose concepts and direction during the pre-production phase to help flesh out an open world RPG, everything from modular level kits to organic assets, props and materials. Responsible for carrying each asset through the entire pipeline complete with integration into Unreal Engine. Created blueprints, particle FX and animations where needed. This position was a remote full time contract where I learned strong self management and communication skills
Worked on 2D, 3D, Technical and Motion Design elements on various titles. Helped to develop and create prototypes and proof of concepts for mobile game projects.
